2023 has ended on a wonderful note, and a new journey of excitement for 2024 has begun, Alhamdulillah! As has been the custom, I like to share a few thoughts with you at the beginning of 2024.

A few days back, a senior Journalist from Delhi came to our office. While discussing our organisation, he said that "Logon ko AMP par Etemaad hai aur Ummed hai", means people have a High level of Trust in AMP as well as Huge Expectations. 

This set me wondering as to what had made AMP achieve this credibility. I realised that since inception, AMP has consistently focused on issues that majorly affect the Community i.e. Education, Employment & Economic deprivation. Also, over the years, we have increased the circle of our influence in the Community by impacting people with newer projects, whether it is Employment Assistance, IndiaZakat.com, National Talent Search, or NGO Connect.

In 2023, I travelled across more than 10 States, with lots of passion & excitement, trying to increase AMP's reach, helping in team building, organisation building etc. I realised that everywhere people are waiting for someone to come & guide them, mentor & motivate them. People want to do something for the Community or the Society, but they need someone to push them and show them the way.

I thus exhort my fellow-AMPians to focus on newer areas, newer projects and work towards the huge EXPECTATIONS that the Community has from us! Collectively we can achieve wonders and take the Ummah to greater heights in sha Allah!

Due to heavy travel and stress, I faced 2 major health issues in 2023. I have resolved to be more careful of my health in the times to come in sha Allah! However, as they say;

Dekh zindan' se pare, rang-e-chaman josh-e-bahar,
Raqs karna hai to phir paon ki zanjeer na dekh!

These are but, small blips, which will not stop us from achieving our Mission & Vision, in sha Allah!
