Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has been working for more than 15 years now, in the domains of Education, Employment Assistance & Economic Empowerment for the Community and the Nation.

With the intention of increasing the Students’ General Awareness and Competitive Spirit, AMP launched a National Level Competition, the AMP National Talent Search (NTS) in November 2020.

In the last 3 years, over 1.5 lakh+ students from 600+ districts across India participated making it one of its kind of talent search competition. This year, we anticipate 1 lakh+ Students from 650+ Districts across India to participate, making it the biggest competition in the Country.

We now take immense joy and pride in announcing the 4^th edition of the AMP National Talent Search (NTS) 2023, a national competition for School & College Students, to be held tentatively on 25^th November 2023 in the following 3 categories;

1. School Students (VIII, IX & X Standard)
2. Junior College Students (XI & XII Standard)
3. Senior/Degree College Students (Undergraduates)

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPETITION:
The primary objectives of conducting the competition are

• To expose students to competitive examinations prepared by eminent Academicians
• To prepare students for various competitive exams, like the JEE, NEET, CAT, UPSC, CUET, etc.
• To make students aware of their strengths and weaknesses
• To awaken their competitive spirit
• To test their General Knowledge and Competition readiness
• To get recognition Nationally among Universities, Colleges, schools, and other institutions
• To provide parents and teachers a benchmark to work with
• To help the participating students with AMP programs, and
• To recognize and reward talent with Prize Money and E-Certificates

EXAM MODE:
Since last 3 years, this exam was conducted Online with the help of AMP World Mobile App. This year, AMP has decided to conduct this AMP NTS 2023 offline (Physical) as well across India. The Online Exam Facility will be available as it is on our AMP World Mobile App.

Thus, the AMP NTS 2023 this year will be a dual format, allowing the candidates to choose between online and offline participation.

• Both the exams will be conducted on the same date and time across India
• The competition will be for a duration of 90 mins
• The paper will consist of one hundred (100) multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• The marking will be based on the number of correct answers; no penalty will be imposed for incorrect answers

 Offline (Physical) Mode:

• Those candidates who opt for the offline mode will get all the benefits and rewards of AMP NTS 2023 (Mentioned below)
• Offline Candidates will also be considered for the ranking process
• Exam will be conducted at our 300+ Centers in 250+ different city/district across India
• Candidate has to select their preferred district from available list of districts where exam centres are finalized

Online Mode:

• The Online Participant will not get any Scholarship or Reward now, they will be awarded only a Participation Certificate
• They will get all other benefits offered by AMP
• For availing the benefits of AMP NTS 2023, they have to appear for the written physical test by AMP or by our partners in future
• The competition will be conducted online using the AMP World App

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Exam Date: Saturday, 25^th November 2023 (Tentative)

Last date of Registration: Monday, 20th November 2023 at 12 midnight

Time & Duration: The exam will start at 11 am for 90 minutes

Note: All the categories will have exam on the same day.

ABOUT - AMP World APP:

• The AMP World app had hosted all the previous National Talent Search competitions with at least 1.5 lakh students registering and appearing for the exam from all over India.
• Through this mobile app, students can also take advantage of AMP’s numerous programs like - career counselling, scholarship guidance, employment training and financial assistance for higher education helping in admissions.
• AMP intends to keep all these Students connected through AMP World; so that they can all take advantage of AMP’s free programs forever.

BENEFITS AND REWARDS:

Scholarships:
Scholarships for Top 500+ Students worth ? 10 Crore+!

• Top 500+ performers at the AMP NTS 2023 will be privileged to receive Scholarships ranging from 50% - 100% for IIT-JEE/NEET coaching from top institutes of India, who are our training partners
• In order to qualify for the various scholarships, these top 500+ students from different categories shall have to appear for an offline test by AMP or respective training partners
• This selection/admission procedure will be based on similar models followed by various admission authorities across the Country

Note:

• The selection will be offered to the Top performing Students of AMP National Talent Search 2023
• These top 500+ students from different categories shall have to appear for an offline test and/or interview and/or counselling by AMP or respective training partners or both.
• This selection/admission procedure will be based on similar models followed by various admission authorities across the Country.
• The Scholarships will be provided solely by our Training Partners
• Theses Scholarships will be provided on Tuition Fees with or without Residential Facility.

Cash Awards:
Cash Prize worth ? 5 Lakh+

Cash awards for students (all categories) - The Toppers in each of the categories will win Cash Prizes as follows;

• Rs. 30,000 for 1st place winners
• Rs. 20,000 for 2nd place winners
• Rs. 10,000 for 3rd place winners
• Rs. 2,000 for 4th to 10th place Winners
• Rs. 1,000 for 11th to 50th place Winners
• Rs. 1,000 for each State Topper (in each category)

Certificates:
All Participants will be awarded E-Certificates as follows

• Special e-Certificates for Top 50 National-level Winners (in each category)
• e-Certificates of Merit for Top 1% in the nation (in each category)
• e-Certificates of Merit for Top 2% in the nation (in each category)
• e-Certificates of Merit for Top 5% in the nation (in each category)
• e-Certificates of Merit for Top 10% in the nation (in each category)
• e-Certificates of Merit for Top 20% in the nation (in each category)
• e-Certificates for Top 10 State-level Winners (in each category)
• e-Certificates of merit for Top 1% in the States (in each category)
• e-Certificates of Participation to all registered participants

Academic Scholarships:
Financial support for Top 200 needy students (all categories)

• Top 200 needy students will receive support to get Merit-cum-means scholarship of at least ?10,000 through AMP’s crowdfunding initiative – IndiaZakat.com. The beneficiary student’s total family income must be less than ? 200,000 per annum 
• AMP will guide deserving and needy students in applying for funds through its Crowdfunding platform - IndiaZakat.com

Additional Benefits by AMP:
Additionally, the competition will provide teachers and parents an understanding of the students’ strengths and weaknesses. This information can be used in framing their career and study plans.

SYLLABUS FOR AMP NTS 2023
The question papers are being set by a team of eminent academicians drawn from prestigious universities & institutes from across India.

For Colleges (Junior and Senior/Degree):

These questions are patterned on the standard aptitude tests conducted by companies, UPSC, GRE, etc, and will cover the following 5 topics/sections – each section containing set of 20 questions.

• Quantitative Analysis
  This section assesses your mathematical and analytical skills.
• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
  Here, you'll be tested on your ability to interpret data and use logical reasoning to solve problems.
• Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension
  This section evaluates your language skills, including vocabulary and reading comprehension.
• Current Affairs
  You'll be asked questions about current events and developments.
• General Knowledge
  This section tests your general knowledge on a wide range of topics.

NOTE: There will be a separate Question Paper for both the Junior/Intermediate College (XI & XII) and Senior/Degree College (degree; first four years) categories.

For Schools (VIII, IX, X):

These questions are patterned on the NTSE conducted by NCERT, and will consist of the following two parts

Mental Aptitude Test (MAT)
This section is common to all classes and assesses your mental aptitude and logical reasoning skills. This section will contain 50 questions.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
The SAT is divided into different subjects below and each subject will have 10 questions

1. English
2. Mathematics
3. Science
4. Social Science
5. General Knowledge & Current Affairs

NOTE:

There will be a separate Question Paper for VIII, IX and X Class Students.
MAT Section will be common to all classes whereas SAT will be different.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Students who are currently enrolled in a school studying in classes VIII, IX or X.
• Students who are currently enrolled in a junior or degree college for the academic year 2022 – 2023
• Madrasa students between ages 13 to 15 years may participate as follows
  • 13 years with class VIII
  • 14 years with class IX
  • 15 years with class X
• Diploma, and ITI students with age limits from 13 to 17 years old can participate with junior college, and 17 to 21 with senior college.
• NIOS students in the secondary course will take the school paper for class X, and senior secondary with junior college.
• Only Indian citizens studying in India are eligible.
• All ages are as of July 31, 2023

NOTE: Winning Students will have to provide documentary proof of identity and eligibility.

• Students can Register themselves or through their schools by filling the form in Student Registration tab on the AMP World Mobile APP. 
• Further details and all updates regarding NTS 2023 will be shared from time to time on the official website and through the AMP World Mobile App.

We invite schools, colleges, institutions and madrasas to register as participating institutions in National Talent Search 2023

• You will receive regular communications about the latest developments about the competition, its process and other details, so that your students are sufficiently prepared in advance.
• Registered school, college, or institution will be added to the NTS 2023 Institution list, which will make it easier for Students to select their properly spelled Institution Name and map these students to their respective school/college/institution.
• This inclusion will also assist in recognizing and awarding the school/college/institution.

• Best Participation Award: Certificate of Appreciation will be presented to all the Schools/ Colleges/ Institutes that enroll more than 100 Students for the competition.
• Appreciation Award: Certificate of Participation will be present to all the Schools / Colleges / Institutes that enroll more than 20 Students for the competition
