AMP CCC Minutes of the Meeting held in Mumbai

AMP CCC Minutes of the Meeting on 10th June 2017

 

  • The meeting was held on 10th June 2017 from 2pm to 4pm at Mumbai Central Head Office.
  • 10 Members from the CCC group from Mumbai attended the meeting.
  • The meeting was addressed by Mr. Aamir Edresy, President of AMP
  • It was co-ordinated by Miss. Muzammil Banatwalla Senior Project Co-ordinator and Miss. Nazneen Shaikh Junior Project Co-ordinator from AMP Team.
  • We started the meeting by having a formal introduction wherein each participant gave their names, qualification and also shared their current work experience.

 

The main highlights of the meeting were as follows -

1. Students should be motivated by having a role model talk in their schools after which they can address their concerns personally to him/her

2. We have 700 districts in India, we should try to have at least 10 to 20 people from each city connected as volunteers with us to increase the numbers of counsellors

 

3. Filtering/Feedback Mechanism -

  1. Telephonic screening of counsellors  - By Skype calling
  2. Personal Evaluation - Ask for resume and if need be meet them in person at the Central Team
  3. Update Mandatory fields in Google form - Years of experience, age, designation
  4. Add the counsellors profile as well and rating of counsellor
  5. Filter should be done as per hierarchy and experience

 

4. WhatsApp Management -

  1. House Rules for using WhatsApp has to be shared with the members
  2. Specialized WhatsApp groups for different fields (e.g., lawyers, architects, etc.)
  3. WhatsApp will include a broadcast list of important messages to be sent to the members
  4. There should be a group for Active people on WhatsApp 
  5. 2 to 3 general counsellors should be available 24 hrs wherein student from remotest place can connect
  6. Whatever is happening in CCC should be announced in other groups
  7. All the members of the group should actively monitor the group wherein unnecessary messages should not be shared and will also help the admin in return

 

5. Database Management -

  1. Actively circulate the Monthly Report to all the CCC members
  2. Write a detailed article in your field and put in AMP Resource Centre (ARC) website
  3. Make PPT in the same fields
  4. As the members who register with us fall under 2 broad categories - Career Counsellors and Career Guidance hence there should be a formal training in place namely Train the Counsellor
  5. Testimonial from students/counsellors
  6. Feedback from students/counsellors

 

6. Marketing Strategies -

  1. One general Helpline number should be there wherein the student can call and go on the time where the person has called
  2. Automated Mobile App process where numbers available should show for e.g., counsellors and students
  3. Physical CCC established in city where people can give time for one to one counselling
  4. Video Recording lectures of SDL if we get a studio
  5. AMP CCC collaboration with existing centres schools and colleges – 2hrs on a daily basis
  6. CCC with a local partner give a school a project
  7. Panel specialists where they visit schools and cover topics
  8. Approach admission counsellors and connect for getting students and institute and train CCC

 

7. Other Take Aways -

  1. Testing of counselling how – child capacity, aptitude and interest
  2. Weekly review update counsellor should give details – lead and covered
  3. Concentrate on the sessions for counselling for students as per the timing of results
  4. Best websites for counselling
  5. Website development from back end where you can search city, field wise will come in place
  6. CCC can join as SDL speakers 
  7. Make strong network across cities to use in other projects
