The Prophet (s.a.w.) said, “If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih Bukhari and Muslim] 
 
Subhanallah! We are a very enlightened and charitable Ummah, who try to help our community brethren in whatever manner possible either individually or through some institutions.
 
As you already know Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 of India (Reg. No. 2011 G. B. B. S. D 3001) is one such institution which strives to empower Muslim Community through its various activities like;
 
Educational Empowerment:

• AMP regularly runs Skill Development Lectures (SDLs) at 50+ different locations in India benefiting more than 50 thousand students every month.
• AMP sponsors around 100 students for higher and technical education from its Zakat Fund every year.
• AMP conducts drives across 500+ schools around the country every year guiding students how to plan their career.
• AMP has successfully built an information bridge between Govt. / Non Govt. Institutes (offering information on admissions, scholarships, etc.) and several thousand needy students across India; under its flagship project AMP Resource Centre.

 
Economic Empowerment:

• AMP has conducted 10 Job Fairs and several Job Drives bringing job seekers and Corporates together and placed more than 10000+ needy candidates.
• AMP has helped prepare fresh graduates, stand up to the challenges faced during interviews by arranging several Employability Training Workshops & Mock Interview Workshops.
• AMP has sponsored 80 young and bright and most importantly ‘needy’ entrepreneurs in starting their own small scale ambitious projects.  

AMP Presence:
AMP has its active presence in over 20 States and more than 60 Cities across India. We strive for the intellectual and economic empowerment of the Muslim youths in India through guidance in education and employment support. AMP is run by working professionals like you and me, who wholeheartedly take full responsibility of the tasks/projects assigned and ensure their completion with a sense of ownership. It would be interesting to know that the operations and activities of this organization are also entirely funded by professionals like us. 
 
Apart from Metros & State Capitals of India, we have active presence in distant towns like Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan), Vaniyambadi (Tamilnadu), Kwakta (Manipur)& others.
Our Goal is to be present in each and every district of the country so that we can reach out to every student and professional of the community through our various projects.
 
We are also present abroad in Middle East where we have active Chapters in Kuwait and Dubai. Our active volunteers are also present in Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, U.S. and Canada.
 
More Activities – More Reach - More Resources
As the scale of projects increase so does our reachability due to which our expenses have increased manifold. Apart from monthly Salaries of the Office Staff we incur expenses for activities like Printing, Stationary, Staff Mobiles, Internet Usage, Website Maintenance, Projector rentals (for Large SDLs), Venue setup/Banners/ Snacks for Corporates & Volunteers for Job Drives etc. It is extremely difficult to manage these activities with the limited contributions of some of our members and some good-hearted Samaritans in the society. We keep exploring various options for self-sustenance to reduce our dependability on outside finances.
 
Appeal: The Power of 100 Stars!
In the current situation, we look forward for support from our existing Members and Associates who have always been with AMP through thick and thin. In a meeting of our core Committee, it was decided to form a group of 100 Members, our STARS! These Stars will donate Rs. 1,000/- (One Thousand only) monthly to AMP and in the process illuminate the lives of our Ummah like the Stars in the sky. This amount will be a great help in fulfilling some of our Admin & Activities expense requirement.
