AMP's Successful Job Drive in Pune on 28th Jan 17

On January 28, 2017, the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Pune Chapter successfully organized a Job Drive in collaboration with Dakhan Momin Jamat and PREX Global Pvt Ltd. The event began at 9:30 AM, with the organizing team ensuring all arrangements were in place. Throughout the day, 55 candidates, including freshers and experienced graduates from various fields, attended the drive. Five companies, including Sufa Solutions and Bizzify, participated, offering multiple job positions. By the end of the event, 10 candidates received on-the-spot job offers, while others were invited for second-round interviews. The AMP team plans to follow up with participants and conduct mock interview sessions in the near future, highlighting their commitment to supporting job seekers in the community.
AMP Conducts Successful Job Drive in Pune on Sat, 28th Jan ‘17 Summary
Association of Muslim Professionals - Pune Chapter had organized a Job Drive in Pune on January 28, 2017. This program was organized in association with Dakhan Momin Jamat and PREX Global Pvt Ltd.
The Day
The day started with the organizing team gathering up at the venue at around 9:30 AM and doing the review of arrangements. The registration forms, the interview desks, seating arrangements, drinking water, banners, standees etc. were checked & the team did a quick walkthrough of the day’s workflow.
Mr. Imtiyaz Shaikh, the coordinator of this event touched-base with the HR personnel to ensure that they did not have any issues finding the Job Drive location.
The first lot of candidate showed up right after 10:00 AM while the last candidate showed up right before 04:30 PM.
The candidates were provided a quick registration form to fill up and asked to submit a copy of their resume. The volunteers at registration desk, after the screening of candidates’ resumes and a quick talk regarding their profile & areas of interest, advised and guided them towards the suitable Corporates. Some candidates were ‘mock-interviewed’ by the senior AMP member Mr Abdullah Ansari.
The Companies
Five companies namely Sufa Solutions, Bizzify, I-Process, SVG Global, and Drive U participated in the event to fill up various positions in their organization. PREX also offered several candidates with positions open with them.
The Candidates
The turn up of the candidates was better than what was expected. 55 candidates turned up throughout the day. They were of a mix of both boys and girls, freshers and experienced engineering/IT graduates and Graduates as well as Undergraduates from different streams.
The Placements
Out of 55 candidates that appeared for interview, 10 were successful in getting an on-spot job offer, the rest of them were called for a second round of interview on Monday.
Post Event
There will be a continued follow up of the participants and the Computer candidates will be invited for our Mock Interview session, which will be organized by Pune Team soon.
