AMP has built a sizeabledatabase of professionals from various streams who act as counselors / careerguides, can attend queries, as and when they come up, regarding career guidance. These willing volunteers are asked to devote time from their busy schedule tohelp provide guidance to those who seek help and counseling.
This may be in terms of general counseling regarding career wherewe seek support from professional counselors or with respect to guidance inspecific career fields like engineering, medical, etc and its various branches.One may not necessarily hold a qualified degree in professional counseling butif you have the requisite correct knowledge and the zest to help others you arewelcome as well.
All counselors have a freedom to choose day and timings as pertheir feasibility and are expected to inform beforehand. The database ofprofessionals is maintained confidentially with AMP and is accessible only tothe core committee members. Area coordinator have access to the same on needbasis. Any specific query is normally routed to the respective professionalthrough the Career guidance cell which will act as a link between the two.
An individual seeking guidance can approach AMP through any of itsmembers or through our website. If the query can be resolved online the samewill be done or incase a detailed guidance is required then the individual willbe guided to get in touch with the respective Area Coordinator who willfacilitate information by consulting with the specific counselor.
